Who: All Alabama Public Libraries
What: Snapshot Day Alabama
When: September 27, 2012
Why: To celebrate how Alabama libraries help their patrons. Libraries provide programming for both adults and children throughout the year. Libraries are also at the forefront of workforce recovery. This is a way to show the patrons and the community just how important Alabama’s public libraries are.
How: All the public libraries in the state will collect statistics and take photos of programs and patrons that use their library on September 27, 2012. The information will then be sent to APLS for publications and sharing. More information on the logistics of Snapshot Day Alabama to follow shortly, please watch this blog.
